Frequently asked questions

IV (intravenous) therapy is the direct delivery of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and other nutrients into your bloodstream through a small catheter. Unlike oral supplements, which must pass through your digestive system and lose potency in the process, IV therapy achieves near 100% bioavailability — meaning your cells receive the full dose immediately. Liquid Lounge brings this clinical-grade service directly to your hotel, villa, yacht, or residence anywhere in Los Cabos.

Yes. All Liquid Lounge IV therapies are administered by licensed medical professionals. Every session begins with a brief health intake to screen for contraindications. Liquid Lounge uses sterile, pharmaceutical-grade ingredients and single-use IV supplies. Serious adverse events are extremely rare when administered by licensed clinicians using proper protocols.

Most IV therapy sessions take between 45 and 60 minutes from setup to completion. The infusion itself typically runs 30 to 45 minutes depending on the formula selected. NAD+ infusions may take longer — up to 90 minutes — due to the slower infusion rate required for comfort. You can relax, watch TV, work, or socialize throughout the session.

Liquid Lounge is a fully mobile service, coming to wherever you are in Los Cabos — including hotels and resorts in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, private villas, vacation rentals, boats and yachts in the marina, offices, and private residences throughout The Corridor. No prescription is required to book a session. A licensed medical professional conducts a brief health intake and consent process before each treatment to ensure the selected formula is appropriate for you. If your health history requires medical clearance, the team will let you know during the intake.

After booking, a licensed medical professional arrives at your location with all necessary equipment. You will complete a short health intake form and sign a consent document. They will insert a small IV catheter — typically in the forearm or hand — and start the infusion. Most clients feel relaxed or energized within minutes. Once the infusion is complete, the catheter is removed and the site is dressed. Most guests report feeling noticeably better within an hour of treatment.

It is the client's responsibility to check with their primary health care provider for safety and appropriateness of treatment.
